  • For the filling: 1/3 cup brown sugar, 1 tablespoon cinnamon, 1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • For the glaze: 1 cup powdered sugar, 2 tablespoons milk

  • Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the mashed bananas, butter, sugar, egg, milk, and vanilla. Mix until smooth.
  • In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt. Gradually add this dry mixture to your banana mixture, stirring until just combined.
  • On a lightly floured surface, roll out the dough into a rectangle about 1/4-inch thick.
  • Spread the softened butter over the dough. Mix together your brown sugar and cinnamon, then sprinkle it all over the buttered dough.
  • Starting from one edge, carefully roll the dough into a log shape. Slice the log into 12 rolls, and place them in a greased baking pan.
  • Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown.
  • While your rolls are baking, whip up the glaze by whisking powdered sugar and milk together until it’s smooth and drippable.
  • Once the rolls are out of the oven and slightly cooled, drizzle that glorious glaze over them.
