Ingredients
Scale
8 ounces fettuccine pasta
1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
1 pound steak (sirloin or ribeye work well)
1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
2 tablespoons olive oil
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Salt and pepper to taste
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
Start by boiling a large pot of salted water. Once it’s boiling, add the fettuccine and cook according to package directions until al dente. Drain the pasta and set it aside.
Season the steak with Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper. In a skillet over medium-high heat, sear the steak until desired doneness, about 4-5 minutes per side. Let it rest before slicing.
In the same skillet, add olive oil if needed, then toss in the garlic. Cook until fragrant, then add the shrimp and Cajun seasoning. Cook until the shrimp are pink, about 2-3 minutes.
Pour in the heavy cream, simmer for a minute or two, then add the Parmesan cheese and stir until melted and creamy. Add reserved pasta water if needed.
Add the fettuccine, shrimp, and sliced steak into the skillet, toss until evenly coated in the sauce. Serve hot with parsley garnish.
