Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 ounces fettuccine pasta
  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 pound steak (sirloin or ribeye work well)
  • 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

  • Instructions

  • Start by boiling a large pot of salted water. Once it’s boiling, add the fettuccine and cook according to package directions until al dente. Drain the pasta and set it aside.
  • Season the steak with Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper. In a skillet over medium-high heat, sear the steak until desired doneness, about 4-5 minutes per side. Let it rest before slicing.
  • In the same skillet, add olive oil if needed, then toss in the garlic. Cook until fragrant, then add the shrimp and Cajun seasoning. Cook until the shrimp are pink, about 2-3 minutes.
  • Pour in the heavy cream, simmer for a minute or two, then add the Parmesan cheese and stir until melted and creamy. Add reserved pasta water if needed.
  • Add the fettuccine, shrimp, and sliced steak into the skillet, toss until evenly coated in the sauce. Serve hot with parsley garnish.
