  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar (for topping)

  • Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×5 inch loaf pan.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, granulated sugar, baking soda, salt, and ground cinnamon. Mix well.
  • In another bowl, whisk the eggs, buttermilk, and vegetable oil together until fully combined.
  • Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients, stirring until just combined. Be careful not to overmix!
  • In a small bowl, mix together the brown sugar and an additional 1 tsp of cinnamon for the swirl mixture.
