Ingredients
Scale
- 8 ounces fettuccine pasta
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 salmon fillets, skinless and boneless
- 1 cup shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Cook the Fettuccine: Fill a large pot with salted water and bring it to a boil. Add the fettuccine and cook according to the package instructions until al dente. Reserve a cup of pasta water, then drain and set aside.
- Cook the Salmon: Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Season the salmon fillets with salt and pepper, then place them in the skillet. Cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side until cooked through. Remove from skillet and set aside.
- Sauté the Shrimp: In the same skillet, toss in the shrimp. Cook for 2-3 minutes until they turn pink. Add more salt and pepper to taste.
- Make the Sauce: Add butter and minced garlic to the skillet, sauté for about 1 minute. Pour in the heavy cream, stir, and bring to a gentle simmer. Stir in the Parmesan cheese until melted and creamy.
- Combine It All: Flake the salmon into bite-sized pieces and gently fold it along with the shrimp into the creamy sauce. Add the fettuccine and a splash of the reserved pasta water, mixing until well-coated.
- Serve and Smile: Spoon the Alfredo into bowls, sprinkle with chopped parsley and extra Parmesan if desired.
