  • 3 cups Fresh broccoli florets
  • 1/3 cup Low-sodium soy sauce
  • 3 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp Fresh ginger, grated
  • 2 tbsp Brown sugar
  • 2 tsp Sesame oil
  • 2 cups Rice for serving

  • Instructions

  • Prepare the Marinade: In a small bowl, mix the soy sauce, garlic, ginger, brown sugar, and sesame oil together until the sugar is dissolved.
  • Combine Ingredients in the Crockpot: Layer the sliced beef in the bottom of the crockpot. Pour the marinade over the beef, tossing to coat all pieces evenly.
  • Cook: Cover and cook on low for 5-6 hours or high for 2-3 hours until the beef is tender.
  • Add Broccoli: About 30 minutes before serving, add the broccoli florets on top of the beef. Cover and continue cooking until the broccoli is bright green and tender.
  • Serve: Prepare rice according to package instructions during the last hour of cooking. Serve the beef and broccoli hot over rice, garnished with sesame seeds if desired.
