  • Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the sliced peaches, 1/2 cup of sugar, lemon juice, vanilla extract, and cornstarch. Toss everything gently until the peaches are well-coated.
  • In another bowl, mix together the flour, remaining sugar, baking powder, and salt. Gradually whisk in the milk and melted butter until you have a lovely batter.
