Ingredients

  • 1 lb steak (sirloin or ribeye work well)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp fresh parsley, chopped (or dried if you must)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 package (9-12 oz) tortellini (your fave filling)
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 additional clove of garlic, minced
  • Salt, pepper, and Italian seasonings to taste

  • Instructions

  • Cut steak into bite-sized cubes, season with salt and pepper. Heat olive oil over medium-high heat, add steak, and cook for 3-4 minutes on each side until browned.
  • Lower heat, add butter and minced garlic to the skillet. Swirl until the butter melts and garlic is fragrant, then add parsley.
  • Cook tortellini according to package instructions in salted boiling water, normally about 3-5 minutes for fresh tortellini. Drain and set aside.
  • In the same pot, add heavy cream and remaining minced garlic over medium heat. Stir until heated, then whisk in Parmesan cheese until smooth. Season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasonings.
  • Add the cooked tortellini to the Alfredo sauce and toss to combine. Serve steak bites on top or alongside, drizzling with garlic butter sauce.
