3 to 4 pounds of chuck roast
1 packet ranch seasoning mix
1 packet au jus gravy mix
1 jar (about 12 ounces) of pepperoncini peppers
1 stick of butter
Salt and pepper to taste
Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
Season your chuck roast generously with salt and pepper. In a hot skillet, sear both sides of the roast until browned.
Place the seared roast into your slow cooker. Sprinkle on the ranch seasoning and au jus mix evenly over the meat.
Pour the jar of pepperoncini (with the juice!) over the roast and finish it off with a stick of butter on top.
Cover the slow cooker and set it to low for about 8 hours.
Once it’s done, shred the meat with two forks right in the slow cooker and serve.
