Enjoy easy delicious Overnight Cinnamon Rolls with this irresistible recipe Prep them the night before for a warm gooey breakfast treat

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 cups All-Purpose Flour
  • ½ cup Granulated Sugar
  • 2 teaspoons Instant Yeast
  • 1 cup Milk, lukewarm
  • ½ cup Butter, melted
  • 2 tablespoons Cinnamon
  • ½ cup Brown Sugar
  • 2 large Eggs
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 4 oz Cream Cheese (for glaze)

  • Instructions

  • In a large mixing bowl, combine lukewarm milk, melted butter, and sugar. Add the yeast and mix well. Let it sit for 5-10 minutes until bubbly.
  • Gradually incorporate the flour and cinnamon into the yeast mixture. Mix until a dough forms and knead for about 5 minutes until smooth.
  • Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover it with a clean cloth, and let it rise in a warm spot for about 1 hour or until doubled in size.
  • While the dough is rising, mix brown sugar and cinnamon in a bowl and set aside.
  • Once the dough has doubled, roll it out on a floured surface into a rectangle (about ¼ inch thick). Spread softened butter evenly on the dough, sprinkle the cinnamon-sugar mixture over the top.
  • Roll the dough tightly from the long edge, then slice it into 12 equal pieces. Place the rolls in a greased baking dish.
  • Cover the dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 8 hours or overnight.
  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Let the rolls sit at room temperature for about 30 minutes before baking. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.
  • While the rolls are baking, beat cream cheese and a bit of powdered sugar with vanilla extract until smooth. Adjust consistency with milk if needed.
  • Once the rolls are done, drizzle the glaze over the top and let cool slightly before serving.
